We're just getting started and we really want to read your work! Now accepting submissions on a rolling basis.
In general, we're looking for anything that explores and celebrates place, space, and urbanism. Maybe it's about a fateful chance meeting on the subway, or a crusade to save a wetland. Perhaps you wrote a poem contemplating the desolation of suburbia, or an essay about the creative side of mapping. If it's well-written, engaging, and place-positive, we want to take a look.
In terms of genre pieces, we will consider sci-fi and fantasy that explore these themes with a light touch. We're not interested in erotica or horror.
FICTION

Since we want to publish from the widest range of perspectives, we may ask authors to work with us to make edits before publishing. Unfortunately we're not able to give specific feedback if your piece is not accepted. We acquire First North American Serial rights to the pieces we publish - the author maintains all other rights and can publish the same piece elsewhere afterwards. We deeply wish that we could pay authors, but we can't right now.
